How to Send Your Case Safely?
- Remove all old labels and markings from recycled/reused boxes.
This ensures your cases make it to the lab timely and without exception. - Disinfect all case materials, seal in a bag, and wrap each model individually with bubble wrap or foam (especially important for wax-ups).
- Fill empty space with extra padding to prevent movement or breakage.
- Articulator & face-bow:
(a) Remove the models from articulator and wrap individually.
or (b) If models remain on the articulator, please separate the articulator. Each piece should be wrapped individually and anchored in the box. The face-bow and other enclosures should be wrapped separately.
Shipping any type of alginate:
Place the lab form in a sealed plastic bag to avoid getting wet or damaged. Staple it to the appropriate case bag.
Loose items (crowns, bridges, implants parts and/or shade tabs):
Place in a separate small container or sealed plastic bag to avoid loss/breakage and staple with the lab form. Please be sure to include the patient’s name and details in the lab form - Any photos or slides that accompany the case should be placed in a plastic bag for protection.
- If shipping multiple cases in one box, please bag each case separately to avoid mix-ups.
